Hong Kong has three BGP peers with the regional internet registry APNIC that are operated by local Internet service providers (ISPs). The ISPs include Hong Kong Telecommunications Limited (HKT), PCCW Global and Hutchison Global Communications Limited. Each of these networks provides access to the global internet via diverse routes. Additionally, there are several smaller local ISPs that have a limited reach but offer services specifically tailored to the region such as streaming media or gaming servers.
