Hong Kong is served by two main Internet service providers, the China Network Communications Group Corporation (CNCG) and Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited (HKBN). Both CNCG and HKBN operate full mesh BGP networks in Hong Kong. CNCG operates a network of routers that provide access to both local customers within the city as well as international customers located outside of Hong Kong. On the other hand, HKBN operates an extensive metropolitan area network that provides high-speed broadband to residential households throughout the region. Both companies offer IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity options for their users.
